Step 1: Open an Internet Connection

Step 2: Open Frontpage 2000, go to "File" then click the "Open Web" option

The "Open Web" box will display. There will be an empty dialog box called "Folder Name" where you can enter your full domain name, including the "http://" part.

Step 3: Enter your full domain name, including the "http://" part.

Step 4: Click the "Open" button

FrontPage will work for a few seconds, then display the "Enter Network Password" box.

Step 5: Enter your Username & Password then hit the "Okay" button

This is the same username and password set you were emailed as part of your instructions, and the one you use to log in to your control panel.

Step 6: Hit the "Okay" button again, and begin publishing your pages

You are now connected directly to the server and editing your pages in real time. When you edit a page or create a new page and save it, you will automatically publish it to the site. There is no need to click the "Publish" button.
